In Chinese Medicine: Pungent-green and only mildly warming, Sage is a polycrest restorative with an exceptionally wide range of traditional uses. It essentially addresses a terrain of chronic weakness from Qi or Blood deficiency with resultant accumulation of damp, and it resolves damp in all three Jiao. Note this is common Sage (<em>Salvia officinalis</em>) &mdash; distinct from White Sage and from Clary Sage, each of which is a different oil.

    Sage essential oil
