In Chinese Medicine: Ravintsara is a fresh-pungent oil whose dispersing, ascending movement works at the exterior while also tonifying the Qi. Its name means 'good leaf', and it is distinguished in this framework from Aromatic Ravensara, a different oil with which it is frequently confused.
Chinese Medicine functions adapted from Peter Holmes, L.Ac., M.H., Channeling Fragrance. The full profile — treatment patterns, acupoint combinations and synergist oils — is in the book.
Medicinal Ravintsara is powerful, healing and soothing. I inhale the oil after pouring a drop into my palms and rubbing them together before social events, parties, doctor visits and church. I believe this is very protective. I love many Snow Lotus Oils. I believe they are the best oils one can buy.
Have been using Ravintsara for a few years now and love it.
I love this oil! It is uplifting and yet relaxing. It seems to offer support to everything positive. The fragrance right under the nose seems very slightly menthol ... yet not in time nor in a general way. I feel optimistic and ‘ready to go’ after applying Ravintsara! It is my current favorite oil.
I LOVE LOVE LOVE the smell of this oil. I feel so uplifted when I use it. When I'm crabby, it seems to lift me out of my mood faster.
