In Chinese Medicine: Hyssop is a moderately warming, drying pungent-green oil whose dispersing and circulating movement covers an unusually wide span of Lung patterns — from wind-cold at the exterior through to chronic phlegm-damp in the interior. It is regarded as one of the better oils for genuinely resolving phlegm in the Lung rather than simply moving it along.
Chinese Medicine functions adapted from Peter Holmes, L.Ac., M.H., Channeling Fragrance. The full profile — treatment patterns, acupoint combinations and synergist oils — is in the book.
For external use only. Properly dilute all essential oils in lotion or vegetable carrier oil before massage or other topical use. Keep out of reach of children.
