Sweet marjoram, Origanum majorana, is cultivated and the essential oil extracted mainly in France, Egypt, Spain and Italy. A classic fresh-herbaceous scent with intensely saturated, lucid green and lemony notes. Simultaneous revival and relaxation is the amazing result.
 
This distillery is located on a large organic farm in Egypt's extremely fertile Nile river delta. It has three main stills with the usual platform mounting that allows easy access to the distillation vat. It is dedicated to processing organic plants such as Marjoram, Basil, Peppermint, Spearmint, and so on.
 
At the end of distillation time, the spent marjoram is slowly hoisted out of the still by chains, until ...
 
... the hot steam dramatically billows up from the bottom and the whole pack is pulleyed off the platform.
